CVE-2021-41229 is a memory leak vulnerability in BlueZ, the Bluetooth protocol stack for Linux, affecting various BlueZ and Debian Linux distributions. An attacker within Bluetooth range can continuously send large SDP packets, causing the sdp_cstate_alloc_buf function to allocate memory that is never freed. This leads to a gradual memory exhaustion and ultimately a denial-of-service condition, crashing the target device.
