CVE-2020-8138 is a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability affecting Nextcloud Server versions prior to 17.0.1, 16.0.7, and 15.0.14. This flaw stems from a missing check for IPv4 addresses nested within IPv6 in calendar subscription URLs. Rated 6.5 MEDIUM, the vulnerability can be exploited over the network with low attack complexity and no user interaction, potentially leading to high confidentiality impact by allowing an authenticated attacker to access internal network resources.
