CVE-2020-7477 describes a Denial of Service (DoS) vulnerability in Schneider Electric Quantum and Premium Ethernet modules and processors. An attacker can trigger this DoS by sending a specially crafted Modbus command over the network. Rated 7.5 HIGH on the CVSS scale, this vulnerability requires no authentication or user interaction and can lead to a complete loss of availability for affected devices. There is currently no public exploit code available, nor is there evidence of active exploitation or significant community discussion.
