CVE-2020-6985 describes a critical vulnerability in Moxa PT-7528 (firmware v4.0 or lower) and PT-7828 (firmware v3.9 or lower) series devices, where a hard-coded service code grants unauthorized console access. With a CVSS score of 9.8 (CRITICAL), this vulnerability allows an unauthenticated attacker to achieve full compromise (confidentiality, integrity, availability) over the network with low attack complexity.
