CVE-2020-5889 describes a reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting F5 BIG-IP Access Policy Manager (APM) versions 15.1.0-15.1.0.1, 15.0.0-15.0.1.2, and 14.1.0-14.1.2.3. This medium-severity flaw (CVSS 5.4) allows an authenticated attacker to inject malicious scripts via a specially crafted HTTP request, which is then reflected to the client after the APM rewrites the backend server's response. The attack requires user interaction and could lead to limited confidentiality and integrity impacts. Currently, there is no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion surrounding this vulnerability.
