CVE-2020-5644 is a critical buffer overflow vulnerability in the TCP/IP function of Mitsubishi Electric GOT 1000 series GT14 models (CoreOS version 05.65.00.BD and earlier). A remote, unauthenticated attacker can exploit this flaw by sending a specially crafted packet, leading to a denial of service or arbitrary code execution on affected devices. With a CVSS score of 9.8 (Critical), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity and no user interaction, resulting in high impacts to confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
