CVE-2020-5577 is a critical arbitrary file upload vulnerability affecting multiple versions of Movable Type, Movable Type Advanced, Movable Type for AWS, and Movable Type Premium products. This flaw allows remote authenticated attackers to upload and execute PHP scripts, leading to complete compromise of the affected system. With a CVSS score of 8.8 (High), the vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity and requires only low privileges, resulting in high impacts to confidentiality, integrity, and availability. There is currently no public exploit code available, nor is there evidence of active exploitation or significant community discussion surrounding this CVE.
