CVE-2020-3336 is a high-severity vulnerability affecting Cisco TelePresence Collaboration Endpoint Software and Cisco RoomOS Software, stemming from insufficient input validation during the software upgrade process. An authenticated, remote attacker with administrative privileges can exploit this by sending malformed requests via console, SSH, or web API. Successful exploitation could lead to denial of service or privileged access to the root filesystem, allowing device configuration modification.
