CVE-2020-3304 is a denial-of-service vulnerability affecting the web interface of Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) Software and Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) Software. It stems from improper input validation of HTTP requests, allowing an unauthenticated, remote attacker to trigger an unexpected device reload. With a CVSS score of 8.6 (HIGH), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity, leading to a complete loss of availability.
