CVE-2020-3288 describes multiple stack overflow vulnerabilities in the web-based management interface of Cisco Small Business RV320, RV325, RV016, RV042, and RV082 Series Routers. These flaws stem from insufficient boundary restrictions on user-supplied input, allowing an authenticated, remote attacker with administrative privileges to execute arbitrary code. With a CVSS score of 7.2 (HIGH), successful exploitation could lead to device crashes or arbitrary code execution with root privileges. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion surrounding this vulnerability.
