CVE-2020-3287

CVE-2020-3287 describes multiple stack overflow vulnerabilities in the web-based management interface of Cisco Small Business RV320, RV325, RV016, RV042, and RV082 Series Routers. An authenticated, remote attacker with administrative privileges can exploit these flaws by sending crafted, oversized requests, leading to a device crash or arbitrary code execution with root privileges. Rated High severity with a CVSS score of 7.2, the attack vector is network-based with low attack complexity, requiring high privileges and resulting in high impact to confidentiality, integrity, and availability. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion surrounding this vulnerability.
