CVE-2020-29490 describes a Denial of Service vulnerability affecting Dell EMC Unity, Unity XT, and UnityVSA storage systems running versions prior to 5.0.4.0.5.012. An authenticated attacker can trigger a Storage Processor Panic by sending specially crafted UDP requests to NAS Servers with NFS exports. This medium-severity vulnerability (CVSS 6.5) requires authenticated access and has a high impact on availability, but no impact on confidentiality or integrity.
