CVE-2020-2020 describes an improper handling of exceptional conditions vulnerability in Cortex XDR Agent versions 5.0 (prior to 5.0.10), 6.1 (prior to 6.1.7), 7.0 (prior to 7.0.3), and 7.1 (prior to 7.1.2). A local authenticated Windows user can exploit this to create files in the agent's internal directory, preventing the agent from starting and persisting across restarts.
