CVE-2020-1907 describes a critical stack overflow vulnerability in multiple WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business applications across Android, iOS, and Portal platforms. This flaw, present in versions prior to 2.20.196.16 (Android) and 2.20.90 (iOS), could enable arbitrary code execution through the parsing of a malicious RTP Extension header. With a CVSS score of 9.8 (CRITICAL), the vulnerability is network-exploitable with low attack complexity and no user interaction, leading to high impacts on confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
