CVE-2020-1672 is a Denial of Service (DoS) vulnerability affecting Juniper Networks Junos OS devices with DHCPv6 relay enabled. A specially crafted DHCPv6 packet can crash the jdhcpd daemon, which, if continuously received, leads to an extended DoS condition. This vulnerability has a CVSS score of 7.5 (High), indicating it can be exploited remotely with low attack complexity, resulting in a complete loss of availability. There is currently no public exploit code available, nor is there evidence of active exploitation or significant community discussion surrounding this CVE.
