CVE-2020-15025 is a denial-of-service vulnerability affecting NTP versions 4.2.8 before 4.2.8p15 and 4.3.x before 4.3.101, as well as products from NetApp, OpenSUSE, and Oracle. An authenticated remote attacker can exploit this flaw by sending specific packets, leading to memory exhaustion due to improper memory deallocation when CMAC keys are used. Rated Medium (CVSS 4.9), the attack requires high privileges but can cause a complete denial of service.
