CVE-2020-14799 is a vulnerability in Oracle MySQL Server versions 8.0.20 and prior, specifically affecting the Server: Security: Encryption component, as well as several NetApp and Oracle products utilizing MySQL. This flaw allows a high-privileged attacker with network access to cause a complete denial of service (DoS) by repeatedly crashing the MySQL Server. With a CVSS 3.1 base score of 4.9 (Medium), it is easily exploitable with low attack complexity, but requires high privileges.
