CVE-2019-9951 is an unauthenticated file upload vulnerability affecting various Western Digital My Cloud NAS devices running firmware prior to version 2.31.174. An attacker can exploit this by accessing the web/jquery/uploader/uploadify.php page without credentials, allowing them to upload arbitrary files to any location on the attached storage. This critical vulnerability, rated 9.8 CVSS, presents a low-complexity attack vector with complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. While no active exploitation or public exploit code is currently reported, its high severity and ease of exploitation warrant immediate patching.
