CVE-2019-9104 describes a critical vulnerability in several Moxa MGate MB series devices (MB3170/MB3270 before 4.1, MB3280/MB3480 before 3.1, MB3660 before 2.3, and MB3180 before 2.1) where configuration files store passwords in cleartext. With a CVSS score of 7.5 (High), this vulnerability allows an unauthenticated attacker to remotely access sensitive information (C:H) with low complexity, posing a significant risk of unauthorized access to industrial control systems.
