CVE-2019-6820 is a critical missing authentication vulnerability (CWE-306) affecting various Schneider Electric Modicon and PacDrive controllers, including the M100, M200, M221, M241, M251, M258, LMC058, LMC078, and ATV IMC drive controller. This flaw allows an unauthenticated attacker to modify the device's IP configuration (address, netmask, gateway) by sending a specially crafted Ethernet frame. With a CVSS v3.1 score of 8.2 (High), the vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity, potentially leading to a denial of service or network disruption.
