CVE-2019-6684 describes a vulnerability in F5 BIG-IP Virtual Clustered Multiprocessing (vCMP) systems across multiple versions (15.0.0-15.0.1.1, 14.0.0-14.1.2.2, 13.1.0-13.1.3.1, 12.1.0-12.1.5, and 11.5.2-11.6.5.1). Under specific conditions, multi-bladed vCMP configurations may drop broadcast packets when rebroadcast to secondary vCMP guest blades. This allows an unauthenticated attacker to leverage fragmented broadcast IP packets to execute various fragmentation-based denial-of-service attacks, resulting in high availability impact. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion or media coverage surrounding this vulnerability.
