CVE-2019-6467 is a programming error in the nxdomain-redirect feature of ISC BIND versions 9.12.0-9.12.4, 9.14.0, and all 9.13 development releases. This vulnerability can lead to an assertion failure, causing a denial of service, particularly if the server is also serving a local copy of the root zone. With a CVSS score of 7.5 (High), it is easily exploitable over the network without authentication, resulting in high availability impact. There is currently no known public exploit code, nor is there evidence of active exploitation or significant community discussion surrounding this vulnerability.
