CVE-2019-5077 is a critical denial-of-service vulnerability affecting the iocheckd service in WAGO PFC 100 and PFC 200 firmware versions. An unauthenticated attacker can send specially crafted packets to cause the device to enter an error state, halting all network communications. With a CVSS score of 9.1, this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity, leading to a complete loss of availability. While no public exploit code or active exploitation has been observed, and community discussion is minimal, the potential for significant disruption remains high.
