CVE-2019-5072 is a high-severity command injection vulnerability affecting the Tenda AC9 Router AC1200 Smart Dual-Band Gigabit WiFi Route (AC9V1.0 Firmware V15.03.05.16multiTRU). An authenticated attacker can exploit a flaw in the /goform/WanParameterSetting functionality by sending a specially crafted HTTP POST request to the DNS2 parameter, leading to arbitrary code execution. With a CVSS score of 7.8, this vulnerability presents a significant risk, allowing for complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, publicly available exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion surrounding this CVE.
