CVE-2019-2955 is a low-severity vulnerability affecting the Core RDBMS component of Oracle Database Server versions 11.2.0.4, 12.1.0.2, 12.2.0.1, 18c, and 19c. This vulnerability allows a low-privileged attacker with local logon access to the infrastructure to partially compromise the RDBMS. Successful exploitation, which requires human interaction, can lead to unauthorized data modification (update, insert, delete) and a partial denial of service. With a CVSS v3.0 score of 3.9, the risk is considered low due to its local attack vector, low impact on integrity and availability, and the requirement for user interaction. There is currently no public exploit code available, nor is there evidence of active exploitation or significant community discussion surrounding this CVE.
