CVE-2019-2444

CVE-2019-2444 is a high-severity vulnerability (CVSS 8.2) in the Core RDBMS component of Oracle Database Server versions 12.2.0.1 and 18c. This easily exploitable flaw allows a low-privileged attacker with local logon access to the infrastructure to compromise the Core RDBMS, potentially leading to a complete takeover with significant impacts on confidentiality, integrity, and availability. While requiring human interaction from a non-attacker, successful exploitation can also affect additional products. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion or media coverage surrounding this CVE.
