CVE-2019-1981

CVE-2019-1981 describes a medium-severity vulnerability in Cisco Firepower Threat Defense, FirePOWER Services for ASA, and Firepower Management Center Software. This flaw, stemming from insufficient normalization of text-based payloads, allows an unauthenticated, remote attacker to bypass filtering protections. An attacker could exploit this by sending obfuscated traffic, enabling malicious payloads to reach protected systems.
