CVE-2019-1968 is a denial-of-service vulnerability affecting the NX-API feature in Cisco NX-OS Software. An unauthenticated, remote attacker can exploit this by sending a crafted HTTP request, causing the NX-API process to restart. While this disrupts the NX-API service, the underlying NX-OS device continues to function and pass network traffic. Rated as High severity (CVSS 7.5), the vulnerability is due to incorrect HTTP header validation.
