CVE-2019-1890 is a medium-severity vulnerability affecting Cisco Nexus 9000 Series Switches in Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) mode. It allows an unauthenticated, adjacent attacker to bypass security validations during the Link Layer Discovery Protocol (LLDP) setup phase, enabling them to connect an unauthorized server to the highly privileged infrastructure VLAN. This could lead to unauthorized access to Cisco Application Policy Infrastructure Controller (APIC) services or other host endpoints. The CVSS score is 6.5 (Medium) with an attack vector of Adjacent and high impact to integrity.
