CVE-2019-1846 describes a denial-of-service vulnerability in the MPLS OAM implementation of Cisco IOS XR Software for Cisco ASR 9000 Series Aggregation Services Routers. An unauthenticated, adjacent attacker can exploit this by sending specially crafted MPLS OAM packets, causing the lspv_server process to crash. This results in a high-severity DoS condition (CVSS 7.4) requiring manual intervention to restore service. There is no known active exploitation, publicly available exploit code, or significant community discussion surrounding this CVE.
