CVE-2019-1837 is a denial-of-service vulnerability in the User Data Services (UDS) API of Cisco Unified Communications Manager (Unified CM) versions 10.5, 11.5, 12.0, and 12.5. An unauthenticated, remote attacker can exploit improper input validation to crash the A Cisco DB service, preventing administrative access to the management GUI. With a CVSS score of 7.5 (HIGH), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with no user interaction, leading to a complete loss of availability for the management interface. There is currently no public exploit code available, it is not listed in the KEV catalog, and it has received minimal community discussion or media coverage.
