CVE-2019-17599 describes a reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the Quiz And Survey Master (quiz-master-next) plugin for WordPress, affecting versions prior to 6.3.5. An unauthenticated attacker can exploit this by crafting a malicious URL containing XSS payloads in the 'from', 'till', or 'quiz_id' parameters. If a logged-in administrator clicks this link, arbitrary HTML and JavaScript code can be executed in their browser. This vulnerability has a CVSS score of 6.1 (Medium) due to its network-based attack vector and low attack complexity, requiring user interaction. There is currently no public exploit code available (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), and it is not listed on the CISA KEV catalog, nor does it show signs of active exploitation or significant community discussion.
