CVE-2019-1737 describes a denial-of-service vulnerability in Cisco IOS and IOS XE software, stemming from improper handling of IP Service Level Agreement (SLA) packets. An unauthenticated, remote attacker can exploit this by sending crafted IP SLA packets, leading to an interface wedge and eventual DoS condition. With a CVSS score of 8.6 (High), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity, impacting availability. There is currently no public exploit code available, nor is there evidence of active exploitation or significant community discussion surrounding this CVE.
