27
FAUCET Score

CVE-2019-1714 is a critical vulnerability in Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) and Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) Software affecting the implementation of SAML 2.0 Single Sign-On (SSO) for Clientless SSL VPN and AnyConnect Remote Access VPN. This flaw, rated 8.6 HIGH, allows an unauthenticated, remote attacker to establish a VPN session to an affected device after a legitimate user has successfully authenticated via SAML SSO, due to improper credential management with NTLM or basic authentication. A successful exploit could grant the attacker access to secured networks behind the device. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion or media coverage surrounding this CVE.
