CVE-2019-16199 describes a critical remote code execution vulnerability affecting eQ-3 Homematic CCU2 and CCU3 devices running firmware versions prior to 2.47.18 and 3.47.18, respectively. This flaw allows unauthenticated attackers with network access to the web interface to execute arbitrary code via specially crafted HTTP POST requests targeting the ReGa core process. With a CVSS score of 9.8 (Critical), the vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity and no user interaction, leading to complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. While the EPSS score indicates a higher than average likelihood of exploitation, there is currently no public exploit code available (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB) and no evidence of active exploitation or significant community discussion.
