CVE-2019-15992

CVE-2019-15992 is a critical vulnerability in the Lua interpreter within Cisco ASA Software and FTD Software, allowing an authenticated, remote attacker to execute arbitrary code with root privileges. This high-severity vulnerability (CVSS 7.2) stems from insufficient restrictions on Lua function calls, leading to a heap overflow and remote code execution.
