CVE-2019-14904 is a critical flaw in the Ansible Community solaris_zone module, affecting Ansible Engine versions 2.7.15, 2.8.7, 2.9.2, and earlier, as well as associated Debian and Red Hat products. The vulnerability allows a highly privileged attacker to execute arbitrary commands on a remote Solaris host by crafting a malicious zone name, which is improperly validated using the 'ps' command. With a CVSS score of 7.3 (HIGH), this local attack requires high privileges but can lead to significant impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
