CVE-2019-14418 is a directory traversal vulnerability affecting Veritas Resiliency Platform (VRP) versions prior to 3.4 HF1. This flaw allows an authenticated VRP user with sufficient privileges to overwrite arbitrary files on the VRP virtual machine by manipulating application bundle uploads, potentially leading to full control of the virtual machine. Rated with a CVSS score of 8.8 (High), it has a network attack vector and low attack complexity, posing a significant risk to confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
