The vulnerability stems from incorrect string termination, leading to unallocated memory access and subsequent CGI process termination. Rated 7.5 HIGH on CVSS, this flaw can be exploited remotely with low complexity, resulting in a denial of service for all clients utilizing the affected CGI.
