CVE-2019-12664 is a vulnerability in the Dialer interface feature of Cisco IOS XE Software on Cisco 4000 Series Integrated Services Routers. It allows an unauthenticated, adjacent or remote attacker to bypass PPP authentication and pass IPv4 traffic through an ISDN channel for a short period. The vulnerability stems from insufficient validation of the PPP IP Control Protocol (IPCP) state. With a CVSS score of 7.5 (HIGH), this flaw could lead to unauthorized network access and data exposure. There is currently no public exploit code available, nor is there evidence of active exploitation or significant community discussion.
