CVE-2019-11841

21
FAUCET Score

CVE-2019-11841 is a message-forgery vulnerability in the Go cryptography libraries (crypto/openpgp/clearsign/clearsign.go) affecting Debian and Golang products. The vulnerability stems from the clearsign package ignoring the "Hash" Armor Header in OpenPGP cleartext signed messages, allowing attackers to spoof the message digest algorithm or prepend arbitrary text without invalidating signatures. Rated Medium severity (CVSS 5.9), it has a network attack vector and high integrity impact, but requires high attack complexity. There is no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion, and it is not listed on the KEV catalog.
