CVE-2019-11287 describes a denial-of-service vulnerability in the web management plugin of Pivotal RabbitMQ (versions prior to 3.7.21 and 3.8.1) and RabbitMQ for Pivotal Platform (versions prior to 1.16.7 and 1.17.4). An unauthenticated attacker can exploit this by injecting a malicious Erlang format string into the "X-Reason" HTTP header, causing the server's heap to be consumed and leading to a crash. This vulnerability has a CVSS score of 7.5 (High), indicating a high impact on availability with low attack complexity and no user interaction required.
