CVE-2019-0056 is an Insufficient Resource Pool vulnerability affecting Juniper Networks Junos OS on specific MX series routers (MX480, MX960, MX2008, MX2010, MX2020) when three or more MPC10 cards are installed and OSPF is enabled. An unauthenticated attacker can send a high volume of specific IPv6 packets to cause OSPF states to transition to Down, leading to a persistent Denial of Service (DoS) for all IPv4 and IPv6 traffic routed via OSPF.
