CVE-2018-9075 is a critical command injection vulnerability affecting specific Iomega, Lenovo, and LenovoEMC NAS devices running versions 4.1.402.34662 and earlier. An unauthenticated attacker can execute arbitrary commands as the root user by injecting backtick characters into the client:password parameter during a PersonalCloud setup, provided specific __c and iomega parameters are also present. This vulnerability carries a CVSSv3 score of 8.1 (High) due to its network-based attack vector, high impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability, and low attack complexity.
