CVE-2018-7845 is an Out-of-bounds Read vulnerability (CWE-125) affecting all versions of Schneider Electric Modicon M580, M340, Quantum, and Premium controllers. This flaw allows an unauthenticated attacker to remotely disclose unexpected data from the controller by reading specific memory blocks over Modbus. With a CVSS v3.1 score of 7.5 (HIGH), the vulnerability has a network attack vector and low attack complexity, leading to high confidentiality impact.
