CVE-2018-7432 describes a denial-of-service vulnerability affecting Splunk Enterprise versions prior to 6.2.14, 6.3.10, 6.4.7, and 6.5.3, as well as Splunk Light before 6.6.0. This flaw allows unauthenticated remote attackers to disrupt service by sending a specially crafted HTTP request. With a CVSS v3 score of 7.5 (High), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity, leading to a complete loss of availability.
