CVE-2018-5951 describes a denial-of-service vulnerability in Mikrotik RouterOS, specifically affecting all versions that support EoIPv6. An unauthenticated attacker can remotely trigger a device reboot by sending a specially crafted 1-byte packet to an IPv6 address using IP Protocol 97. This vulnerability carries a CVSSv3 score of 7.5 (HIGH) due to its network-based attack vector, low complexity, and high impact on availability.
