CVE-2018-5523 describes a vulnerability in F5 BIG-IP and Enterprise Manager where authenticated administrative users can bypass command restrictions within the Traffic Management User Interface (TMUI). This flaw, rated 7.2 HIGH, allows an attacker with high privileges to execute arbitrary commands, leading to high impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability. While no public exploit code or active exploitation has been observed, and community discussion is minimal, the potential for a highly privileged attacker to compromise the system remains.
