CVE-2018-5471 describes a cleartext transmission of sensitive information vulnerability affecting the web interfaces of various Belden Hirschmann industrial switches, including RS, RSR, RSB, and MACH series. This medium-severity flaw (CVSS 5.9) allows an unauthenticated attacker to capture sensitive data via a man-in-the-middle attack due to the absence of encryption.
