CVE-2018-5459 describes an Improper Authentication vulnerability in WAGO PFC200 Series 3S CoDeSys Runtime versions 2.3.X and 2.4.X. This critical flaw allows unauthenticated remote attackers to execute various operations, including reading, writing, or deleting arbitrary files, and manipulating PLC applications during runtime by sending specially-crafted TCP packets to port 2455. With a CVSS score of 9.8, the vulnerability has a network attack vector, low attack complexity, and high impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
